How It Works

Three steps to a number you can trust.

1

Tell Accu the job

Describe the work in plain English — "paint my living room," "replace my water heater," "new roof, two layers of old shingles."

2

Answer the real inputs

Accu asks only what the formula needs: measurements, materials, your ZIP code. No invented square footage, no fabricated hours — ever.

3

See the math, get the range

You get the formula, every value plugged in, your regional multiplier, and a realistic low–high range. The "why" behind every dollar.

Radical Transparency

Every estimate shows its work.

Lead-fee companies hide the math and sell your phone number to five contractors. Accu does the opposite: the formula, the rates, and the multiplier are printed on every ticket — so when a pro quotes you, you already know if the number is fair.

That's the EasyAccurate promise. It's in the name.

Straight Answers

Questions people actually ask.

Are these estimates real quotes?
No — every Accu estimate is a budgeting range built from published trade formulas and regional cost multipliers. Final pricing always requires an on-site assessment by a licensed professional.
Why does Accu ask for my ZIP code?
Labor and material costs vary widely by region. Accu classifies your ZIP as high-cost, standard, or low-cost and applies the matching multiplier so the range reflects your actual market, not a national average.
Why a range instead of one number?
Real jobs have variance — hidden prep work, material grades, access issues. Accu presents a low-to-high range (roughly ±10–15%) because a single number would be a guess, and Accu never guesses.
Does EasyAccurate sell my information as a lead?
Never. EasyAccurate was founded on one rule: never charge for leads and never sell the same homeowner to five competing contractors. The estimator is free to use, no strings attached.
How do I find a contractor after I get my number?
Head to the EasyAccurate member directory to find independent trade businesses in the cooperative network — real local pros, not a lead marketplace.
